Whoa...everything clears up, strings, even more refined than before, high resolution. wtf. clears up the fuzziness i thougth was inherent in some recordings. Tempest (Live) - Jesse Cook

  • Vodka - All dynamics are lost, soundstage compressed.all textures are lost, all sense of space is gone. still wide. not body at all. it sounds bad. lifeless, pancake soundstage. no depth whatsoever. It's so bad, i wouldn't even let a deaf person listen to it. warmth is gone.

  • differences are immediately noticeable, stock is softer
  • more dynamic, textures are more apparent, more tactile is OA
  • tighter bass, more resolution, textures
  • much better layering
  • As the guitar players switch you could hear the subtle transition. just more exciting and "live" sound with bodies in the picture. The stock gives you the impression it's live but doesn't force it upon you.
  • more emotion = automatic 20% improvement

Ask About Me - Ice Cube

  • Never heard the bass sound so tight and nice.
  • good resolution on the gradual increase on the bass
  • Stock, you lose so much dynamics. The intro bass has a lot more detail and decay, much more depth.
  • sounds soft in comparison, no definite edges, not as clean, sounds like a different song

Those Were the Days - Blubell & Black Tie

  • Everything is tight, her vocals are very well defined and sharp
  • strings and layering is superb
  • can't believe it could make this much of a difference.

Gypsy Eyes - Jimi Hendrix

  • HUGE improvements.
  • differences are not subtle at all.
  • OA: stock is just fuzzier, not as tight overall, decay unrealistic, and not as dynamic. sounds flatter not good layering.
  • the dept difference between the lumin and msb is the same between the cables on the msb.

Roses - Chainsmokers

  • Spacious, much more detailed, blacker background, dynamic, super tight. Stock is a fuzzy mess in comparison.
  • You could hear the layering much better between the difference piece of the song from the male vocal to the beat machined parts.
  • First thing I think about when I switch to the SOTM is - This cable is required. It is more significant than stillpoints and could make or break a dac like a MSB Analog.

This cable has done wonders for streaming. I didn't realize how important this was.
